Exterior Parts Removal:
I then jacked the vehicle up about 3 feet in the front & 2 feet in the rear, placing the jack stands at all the jacking points on the vehicle, be sure that the car is stable & jack stands locked properly!
Now, you need to drain the "autotragic" fluid, remove the gear selector cable & Transmission harness.
As for the unplugged Auto trans harness, taped off the connection points. Then I just rolled it up into the firewall, tie wrapped it secure & out of the way!

Onto to the 6 exhaust manifold flange nuts, 1st place your floor jack with a piece of wood under the
front portion of the exhaust. Note: you might want to spray the 6 manifold flange nuts with Rust Bust a few days prior to removing! No guarantee's but it might help, I ended up breaking 3 studs anyway!

Now, remove the 2 center exhaust rubber hangers, then lower the front portion of the exhaust. Remove the 2 rear nuts off the muffler, onto cardboard if you don't want scratch up your cat-back!
Now remove entire exhaust from under car. Remove heat heat shield, remove center exhaust hanger bracket. Now remove drive shaft, by loosening 18mm bolts from guibo, these are very tight, so 2 good quality wrenches, remove the 4 rear nuts of drive shaft from diff. flange. Remove centering bearing, remove drive shaft.
Remove transmission cooling lines & trans cooler, 4 screws in front of radiator!

Automatic Transmission Removal:
Place 1 of your floor jack's under the rear center of the A/T, loosen the 4 trans cross mount bolts & then you need to jack up the front of the engine about 1" to 1-1/2 inches to tilt the trans downward for easier access to the bell housing bolts. You will need to remove the 3 bolts from flywheel to torque converter via through peep hole on the bell housing plate, located on passenger side rear engine. You will need to hold the front crankshaft bolt, so you crack them loose.
Remove all the bell housing bolts using your torx sockets T8, T10 & T12 & 3/8 swivel. These also were extremely tight, I used all 3/8 drive sockets & extensions, but used a 1/2 drive ratchet with adapter to 3/8, to break them free. Now remove 4 trans cross mount bolt & lower the trans slowly, but leave the jack under the trans, wiggle & pull, it will pull out & drop!
